One year, nine months, and two days.
Don't worry about sending more packages. I don't believe
there will be enough time for me to receive them. "O fim se
aproxima..." from a Hino SUD.
Bom, can you ask from what ward Rebbeca Galdino is from? I’m
not remembering well. Tell her Congratulations and good luck!
In google maps, the name of our apartment is "Reserva
Cotia Park" or "Cotia Park Reserve" on the road "Rua
Gagliari, 35 - Jardim das Pedras, Cotia, SP, 06703-790." I hope this
helped the problem.
This week we established a new record of this transfer of 7
new investigators. The first two weeks, we were able to find only 5 per week.
An elect family we’re working with might be baptized on
3/2/2018. They’re, Eduardo, Selma, Kimberly, and Kaik. Elder Brown and Elder
Bedoya had found them the past transfer. They came to two of three sessions of
Stake Conference this weekend. They've have also given three references that
have lead to new investigators in this last week. Like, they are the new definition
of elect. They have achieved the level of Sandra and Odair when they were
investigating the Church.
On Saturday, After the Priesthood Session, President Thomas
dropped us off near Eduardo's house so we could get to our appointment with
this family. He and Sister Thomas were able to meet them After the General
Session on Sunday.
Today, with permission, we went to Alphaville, Baueri, SP, to
this family's perfume, and cologne shop. You can see where exactly this is on
Google, using the name of the place, Centro Commercial Alphaville.
Tell Cleber sorry, for the delay, and thanks. I’m sure they’ll
look awesome in the end.
You will be blessed for your service in the church.
Even though it seems like all your time is being chewed up.
Also on Saturday, before the priesthood session, we went and
visited a father who is struggling with alcohol. Anyways, while he was changing
to go with us to the session, my companion sat on a fallen tree stump that was
partially still in the air, when I tried sitting, the log fell, making us both
fall on our backs. We laughed after, because of how it happened.
I LOVE YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It finally clicked, when Rebecca said she was from
"Rose Garden" Ward.
Eduardo, Selma and family "Família Oliveira", are
doing great, they weren’t baptized on 03-2-2018. They didn't come to church
yesterday, because of a wedding they needed to attend. They weren’t comfortable
with this baptismal date, so we asked Eduardo when he thought he could feel
ready, he said that could be ready in 15-20 days. We heard the wife say in a
month or so, then helped them put their faith in action again and accept the
date of 3-3-2018 forcing for 17-2-2018.
My companion and I are doing great. We're working hard, and
can't believe that we're entering into the 5th week of the transfer. The time
is flying too fast.
I could email photos yesterday because of a power outage,
that helped everyone at church pay more attention on the classes and testimonies.
I concerned about Sandra and Odair. They visited the ward
yesterday, and it appears that this was the first time (at least for Vinicius)
that they came to church in 6 months. I vented just a short while ago about my
concerns about my converts to the president. If you could, send uplifting
scriptures to them once in a while, like once a week.
Tomorrow, I’ll be going to the mission office for a meeting
for missionaries returning home on April 3rd. This is the “meeting of the dead”
that I was talking about in an earlier email. In this mission it is officially
called "meeting for missionaries returning home on (insert date)" and
unofficially called "Meeting of the heroes". I’ll be able to pick up
my package tomorrow.
If there is a way, can you ask Cleber to put the São Paulo
West Mission logo on the cover for the triple? I think he can get it by
contacting the mission: Elder Smith- 011 9 7652 3840
Yes, that was my second and probably last trip to Alphaville
on my mission. The first was with Elder Srur in Helena Maria - Osasco.
Last week I email Derick and Ericka, but they haven’t
responded yet.
